SUMMARY:KARC runs the Bayou #1 of 2022
DESCRIPTION:Restarting one of our favorite things. Run someplace new and gather for breakfast after!\n \nFor our first run we will go to Houston’s Great East End. We will start from one of Houston’s coolest parks, Smither Park, a beautiful mosaic covered park and a heaven for self-taught artists! This is a living project; if we are lucky, we will see artists at work. The route is an out and back to the pedestrian bridge in Mason Park. It follows the Brays Bayou Greenway Trail, a wide (12’) concrete hike and bike trail along Brays Bayou in Southeast Houston. After the run we will have a Pupusas breakfast at El Papaturro Salvadoreña. Carpool from Katy at 6:30AM at the Fry road Park and Ride  run starts ~ 7:15am. It looks cold bring a thermos of hot water and we will provide hot coco mix!\n
